Post Workout Snack

  • 1 scoop whey(MGN cinnamon roll)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp guar gum
  • 1/4 cup of wheat bran
  • water, enough to cover mixture

Stir together and microwave for 60-90 secs.  When done right it’s got the consistency of bread YUM!

  4. I’m all about the “bread” texture. I wish I could find guar gum around here. Does xantham gum do the same thing?

    • I’ve not tried the xantham in this, I use it in my protein ice cream. You don’t have to use the gums…just don’t use as much water.

    I was researching xantham gum v. guar gum. Apparently, xantham gum is easier to digest. 😀
