Protein Pancakes

There are a million versions of the protein pancake…here’s mine:

  • 1 scoop of MGN cinnamon bun whey powder
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 shakes of cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp guar gum(optional)
  • 2 Tbsp water

Mix all in blender and fry in coconut oil!  If you want a bigger breakfast add more of each ingredient 🙂  This is actually a snack for me.

I topped mine with toasted almond slices but add whatever you want.

    My pancakes are seriously never that gorgeous. Hence, I dub them failcakes. Hahaha.

  4. What does guar gum do? I have never made protein pancakes without oatmeal….this looks so cool because now that I’m gluten-free I can’t do oats…..HMMM I must try.
