Runner’s High

I will again state that I don’t consider myself a runner BUT…I do get runner’s high every now and again.  Isn’t it the best feeling?  Like you could just run forever.  Thanks to this workout my morning started off fantastic!

Nothing exciting going on really.  Mike and I went out to eat and a really nice Italian restaurant where the chef is a 7 year winner for the best lasagna in Indianapolis.  I had the grilled chicken salad so nothing Italian for me 😉  We also went and saw Black Swan.  Natalie Portman ROCKS in that movie.  I always knew she’d be a star ever since I saw her in Beautiful Girls many moons ago.

How cute was she?

Have you ever had runner’s high?  Do you love it?

  1. Great job!!!!! I am not a “runner” but I do a lot of it & honestly, never have come to love it.. it is a love/hate relationship. I love the accomplishment of what I do! 🙂

  2. I’m a huge Natalie Portman fan and I loved Black Swan as well. She is so super talented. I saw her in The Professional. She was even younger and already you could tell she’d be a star.

    • Oh yes! She was so good in The Professional as well!

  3. Woohoo on that run. I have indeed finally experienced runner’s high. I was giggling like a freaking fool! No lie. Up until then, I thought it was totally made up.

  4. yay for the runners high! and yay for you!
    i lOVE that feeling!!!!!!!!!!
cant live without it,but im kindof sick like that

  5. I completely forgot she was in that movie. I love that movie so.

When I ran, I definitely had runners highs where I felt like I found my happy pace and could run forever, I miss that!

  6. It’s been weeks since I’ve had a good run but I love it every time I run. I feel like such a badass and I don’t really know why!! LOL

  7. Sunnie

Best feeling in the world. I hate that there are so many people who will never know what one feels like.

  8. Believe it or not, I used to be SO into running. I’d go every morning, and I loved it because I ALWAYS got runner’s high…it felt amazing. Had to stop due to shin splints and developing some issues with my joints, and also cause it took away from other training…but definitely fun.

Also, I LOVED that film. (Black Swan) One of the best things I’ve seen in quite a long time, and even more surprising that it’s a new film, considering all the shitty stuff that has been coming out as of late.

  9. What a fantastic workout you did!

Oh how I miss my runner’s high. My right knee has gotten janky again and I haven’t run since the morning I left for Australia several weeks ago. Going to try for a jog around the hood tomorrow. Fingers crossed that my leg holds up ok.

I know you don’t consider yourself a runner….but why not reconsider? Seems like you might be a runner 🙂
