Why haven’t I tried this before?
8 hours on low, serves 4.
This made the kind of oats my grandma used to make mmmm….I added some blubes, cinnamon, flax and stevia YUM!
The last time I tried to do oats in a crockpot, it was a disaster! Love blueberries and cinnamon in my oats too. Yum
Do you add the blueberries before you put them in the crock pot? Or right before you eat them?
I added mine afterwards. Hmmm…if you did it before hand you may have purple oats! Cool!
YUM! I will be right over! 😉
No you won’t…remember the ice and snow LOL!
Nice! I wish I liked oatmeal. Still. Sad.
So easy! I love oatmeal. I am a new reader, and love your story. Looking forward to reading going forward.
Thanks for commenting! I love knowing who my readers are..i’m headed over 🙂
I’ve never tried this before, I may have to give it a shot!
Love your blog – I too, am fair skinned, freckled – although as I’ve aged, my red hair isn’t so red any more. Reading from Wisconsin – so I feel your “pain” when it comes to the snow. Makes for a great workout but I’m 5 foot 2 and I can’t throw it any higher! Take care – love the oatmeal recipe, will be experimenting myself. I’ll have to see how well it works with crock pot liners (save on the clean up).
So I won’t whine about our measily 6″ of snow anymore LOL! Thanks for commenting!!!
