A Strawesome Giveaway!

A reusable drinking straw?  Oh yes!  They are fun to drink out of and so cute.  You can purchase them HERE or i’m giving you a chance to win a few on my blog.

From their website:

Why Reusable Straws?

Glass Straws
  • Concern about plastic usage is at an all-time high. Glass drinking straws are one way to limit your exposure to toxins from plastics.
  • If you use straws a lot think about how many plastic straws you throw in to a landfill every year.  Including the instances you dine out at restaurants this number can be astronomical!  Being green has never been so easy.  Replace your disposable plastic straw with a glass straw and you can help save our planet from destruction.
  • Not only is it fun to drink from a glass straw but studies have shown that drinking from something more substantial than plastic may help you lose weight.  The feeling of glass on your lips will help you lose weight on your hips!
  • Strive to consume more water? Make it fun with a glass straw.
  • Want to help your kids eat more fruits & vegetables? Make it fun with a green smoothie and a glass straw.
  • Want a gift for the person who has everything?  We bet they don’t have this! Buy them a personalized glass straw from Strawesome.
  • Strawesome also provides drinking straws for special occasions like bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, or corporate gifts.

It’s rare that I get all art-appreciation on anything, but seeing all the hand-blown glass stuff in Venice really opened my eyes. 🙂 I would drink many many things with these straws, but the first would be a homemade strawberry lemonade slush – the perfect sign of summer!

  14. Lori

These look like a lot of fun. I love to drink from straws, but tend to avoid them since I started injecting Botox and Juvederm at a Dermatology practice. I have had several patients with lots of little wrinkles around the lips (use to call them smokers wrinkles from pursing the lips), but they have never smoked. Turns out most of them use straws to drink all the time. I may get a set for my family anyway just because they are so beautiful!

  15. I am a fan!

  16. i would use the straws for my morning green monsters!

  43. MarthaB

I have a question…how do you keep them clean? I’ve had reusable straws and they end up yucky inside even after soaking and dishwashing, etc. Anyone have a great idea?

    • Martha mine came with a cleaning brush. It’s really small and works well.

  44. Oh, what about pipe cleaners. You know the ones i’m talking about? They are small and come in lots of fun colors? That might work. I put them on my hangers too to keep clothes from sliding off.
